Setting a tag and device address
Notice!
• This function is primarily for commissioning of individual devices which are connected point-to-
point with a modem or gateway, i.e. test bench operation.
• Device Xpert identifies commissioned devices and deactivates the corresponding menu items
1 Tap and hold on a device

In the context menu that appears: Tap on
Tag/Address=> Set Tag
2 Enter the tag, Tap
OK
to register the change
–
Tap on
OK
to acknowledge the message that appears:
–
The new tag is displayed in the tree
