3. Pull the top of the cartridge toward you to unlatch it. Lift up to remove it
from the carrier.
4. Remove the protective tape from the new cartridge.
5. Put the cartridge in the carrier “bottom first,” then click it into place. Be
sure to match the color designation of the cartridge to the designation
on the carrier. Be sure all cartridges contain the same type of ink (i.e.,
all cartridges contain either GS or GA ink).
6. Close the printer's cover.
7. It's a good habit to reset the ink levels for all new (or refilled) cartridges
to 100% in the printer's software control panel to activate ink counting.
Note: setting the ink level to 0 turns the counting off.
8. Select Access Cartridges in the printer's software control panel to move
the carrier back to the service station (or simultaneously press the
and
buttons on the front panel).
