Blowdown Routine
This automatic routine will appear if the Electrolyser has not been in STEADY or RAMP UP mode for a
certain period of time. As the relief valve on the outlet of the Electrolyser is a mechanical spring
valve, without use it may not open exactly at 29 bar and might need extra pressure to open for the
first time. There will be a warning that notifies when the routine starts: WARNING "WO_20". The
blowdown routine doesn't interfere with the normal ramp up routine, but makes some changes to
the safety routine checks.
If the pressure on the hydrogen line outside the electrolyser is higher than
25 barg then the
blowdown routine wont take place.
If the pressure is under 25 barg then the pressure switch inside the electrolyser will be desactivated
letting a higher pressure be achieved in case the relief valve needed a higher pressure differential to
properly open.
Anti-Freezing Routine
This automatic routine will check every 10 seconds the temperature on the internal electrolyte tank.
If the temperature is below 10°C then the heater and circulation pump will be turned on. This mode
also checks the flow of the circulation pump veryfing that there are no obstructions present in the
pipeline (for example frozen pipes).
Safety Heartbeat
The Safety Heartbeat functionality is a periodic signal that is generated by the Gateway and sent to
the EL 2.1, in order to verify Electrolyser connection with the Mobile App or Enapter Cloud. If the
Electrolyser does not receive this signal from the gateway within a specified time period, it
will undergo a normal shutdown. This allows the user to ensure that the Electrolyser only
operates whilst a stable connection to the Mobile App or Enapter Cloud is available. This feature is
optional. For further information on Safety Heartbeat follow this
to the Handbook.
Information about the Firmware version 1.2.1 is available that introduces this feature
Action needed: The update is now available in the Enapter Mobile Application. To update your
device, navigate to
Device Info -> Firmware
and press the
Check for Updates
button.
To activate Safety Heartbeat via Gateway:
1.
Connect to the Gateway -
2.
Configure Safety Heartbeat on the Gateway -
To activate Safety Heartbeat via Modbus, follow the instructions
