6. Secure the nailing header to the side framing studs with four
#8 x 1 drywall screws
7. To connect the gas line and install the electrical connection,
the burner assembly must be tilted upward in the fireplace.
a Remove the control door by opening the door, removing
the center piovt pin, and lifting the door upward to dis-
engage the slots on the ends of the door from the pivot
pins.
b. Remove the two control door pivot bolts and washers.

c. Remove two screws from front corners of the control
panel with a Phillips head screw driver.

d. Lift front of burner assembly and tilt upwards and toward
the back of the fireplace. Retrieve the two supports from
inside the fireplace and place one each side against the
front corners of the cabinet bottom and under the front
corners of the control panel.
NOTe:
Use care when raising the burner to avoid
scratching the stainless interior of the fireplace.

8. Install gas and electrical supplies to fireplace. See page 17
for gas supply requirements. For ease of installation, the
gas and electrical supply are located on the valve side of the
fireplace. Both may be relocated to enter the opposite side of
the fireplace.
