7. To connect the gas line and install the electrical connection,
the burner assembly must be tilted upward in the firepit.
a Remove the control door by opening the door and lifting
the door upward to disengage the slots on the ends of
the door from the pivot bolts.
b. Remove the (4) filler strips (Index No.'s 31 and 32
illustrated on page 29), by simply lifting them up from
the burner tray.
c. Remove the two control door pivot bolts using a 1/8-inch
hex allen wrench.

d. Using gloves, remove the two expanded metal burner
cover screens from the burner tray, then set aside.
e. Remove two screws from front corners of the control
panel with a 5/16-inch hex head driver.

f. Lift front of burner assembly and tilt upwards and toward
the back of the firepit. Retrieve the two prop tools and
place one each side against the front corners of the
cabinet bottom and under the front corners of the control
panel.

Use care when raising the burner tray assembly
to avoid scratching the stainless interior of the firepit.

8. Install gas and electrical supplies to firepit. See page 14 for
gas supply requirements. See page 13 for electrical sup

ply requirements. For models with LED lights, be sure to
plug the transformer power cord plug into the junction box
receptacle.

For ease of installation, the gas
and electrical supply are located on the valve side of the
firepit. Both may be relocated to enter the opposite side of
the firepit.
9. Remove plastic protective film from the firepit outer top,
control door, and filler trim pieces.
