Rear CVBS: Rear Audio/Video Input (on the rear panel)

Each channel (you can select it by pressing /
- or input the assigned number of the channel to select
your desired one directly.
NOTE:
For the unit in Europe, Maybe the SCART Audio/Video
input will be included.
Please check your player state.
6. Press RIGHT/LEFT to highlight the QUALITY icon,
and press ENTER and UP/DOWN to select the re-
cord quality, after your selection, press ENTER to
confirm it.
HQ
: High Quality, you can record for up to 1 hour in a
blank disc.
SP:
Standard Play, you can record for up to 2 hours in
a blank disc.
SP+
: Standard Play, you can record for up to 2,5 hours
in a blank disc.
LP
: Standard Play, you can record for up to 3 hours in
a blank disc.
EP
: Extended Play, you can record for up to 4 hours in
a blank disc.
SLP
: Super Long Play, you can record for up to 6 hours
in a blank disc.
NOTE:
The selection of record quality is worked according the
RECORD MODE selection.
7. Press UP/DOWN to select TRICK icon, and press
ENTER and UP/DOWN to select RECORD.
8. If you want to stop recording, press STOP.
If the DVD-/+RW or DVD-/+R is new, it will take about
three minutes to stop.
NOTE:
For a new DVD-/+R/RW, it will take abort 30 minutes to
format it before recording.
Generally, it takes more time and no more than 5 minu-
tes to rename the disc if press stop button to stop the re-
cording operation.
One-Touch Record
1. During normal recording, press RECORD, the recor-
der will enter the record mode.
2. The record time will extend for another 30 minutes
with each press.
The length of recording time is determined by disc capa-
city and record quality.
With your setting, if it will exceed the capacity of the disc,
OTR will be cancelled, and switched to normal record.
3. If you want to stop recording, press STOP.
NOTE:
You maybe could not enter the record state for the diffe-
rence between disc format and TV format. Please change
another disc or change the signal input format.
Timer Record
For timer recordings, the clock, date, and stations must
be set correctly.
Load a DVD-/+RW or DVD-/+R disc with enough free
space for the recording.
1. Press TIMER, the record scheduler will pop up.
2. Use UP/DOWN to select one schedule, and press
ENTER to access Item
Editor as below:
In each item you can also use direction keys to highlight
and press ENTER to choose your desired setting:
Signal input source, details see page 19, step 5.
Record quality, details see page 20, step 6.
Record frequency, once, daily or weekly
Mm/dd/yyyy
Start time for timer recording (the set-up time laterhan
current time.)
End time for timer recording VPS mode select “ON”, this
recorder can support under standby on.
NOTE:
If you want to delete a schedule, highlight the one, press
ADD/CLEAR.
3. Put into DVD-/+R or DVD-/+RW disc , Select OK to
save your setting.
4. Press the “STANBY” button, into standby mode, wait
to start recording.
5. n five minutes before it is ready to record the schedu-
led, it appears a Record Prompt dialog, affirm press
OK, abolish press CANCEL, and if without operation
for a moment it will record the scheduled.
NOTE:
1. The timer recording function will be effective under
standby states.
2. In standby mode, your recorder can wake up in 2 mi-
nutes before recording.
3. During recording, you can press STOP to suspend
the recording.
4. A DVD-/+RW/DVD-/+R can record for up to 343 mi-
nutes, up to 48 titles.
