The side awning is intended for the home and serves as visual protection, protection against direct sunlight and protection
against wind of strengths up to wind class 1. Misuse may result in significant hazards. Additional loading of this product with
attached objects or use beyond the mechanical limitations may result in damage to the product and endangerment of persons
and is therefore not permitted. The manufacturer is not liable for damage resulting from such misuse.
The manufacturer disclaims any warranty for damage to the product in the event of failure to comply with the instructions and
information given in this manual and in the event of improper use or use outside the intended use. Liability for consequential

The side awning is designed and manufactured in accordance with the provisions of DIN EN 13561. Nevertheless, during
installation or operation, failure to comply with this manual may result in hazards/damage to objects of all kinds as well as to the
persons involved.
Wind-resistance classes
Awnings are classified in wind-resistance classes according to DIN EN 13561 and DIN EN 1932-2013.
This side awning is classified in wind class 1 with firm anchorage using the enclosed exemplary mounting material. It must be
retracted immediately at wind speeds of 28 km/h and more.
Wind class 1
The awning may remain extended up to a maximum wind force of 4. Definition = moderate breeze, moderate wind. Wind moves
twigs and thinner branches, lifts dust and loose paper.
Speed 20-28 km/h = 5.5 -7.9 m/s.
Delivery without fixing material. The fixing material must be supplied by the fitter with the existing
mounting surface must be coordinated.The installer alone is responsible for ensuring that the fixing
material is suitable for the respective masonry and substrate and that the installation is carried out
professionally. The respective installation instructions of the anchor manufacturer must be observed.
