Assembly
Warning
If a clamp awning is fixed between balconies by means of pure force, this force can lead to an excessive additional load on the
balcony when the clamping screws are tightened.
Furthermore, a lowering of the balcony – due to people or wind load, humidity, or different temperature coefficients of the
materials involved – can lead to a severe reduction of the clamping force.
To prevent the clamp awning from collapsing, it is absolutely necessary to secure it at least with the provided fastening materials.
Depending on the substrate, other screws and/or dowels may be required.
No liability for damage to persons or elements of any kind will be assumed for a clamp awning that has not been properly
secured.
The installation must be carried out in strict compliance with the safety regulations for temporary or mobile construction sites to
ensure the safety of persons. If the clamp awning is to be installed on a floor higher than the ground floor, the corresponding area
must be demarcated and monitored so that no persons can linger under the installation site.
Improper installation can cause personal injury.
It is prohibited to hang objects of any kind on the clamp awning, to pull oneself up on it or to put additional weight on it in any
other way.
Care must be taken to ensure a durable, secure and stable hold.
The service life of the product, especially of the plastic components, depends strongly on the weather conditions at the location
where it is installed.
The product must therefore be checked regularly to ensure that it is intact and operational.
If you are unable to make an assessment regarding continued safe and reliable operation, please contact a specialist in your area.
Please contact our customer service if you have any questions about the product or if any parts are missing.
Contact details can be found in the assembly instructions.
Warning
Check that the clamp awning is firmly positioned so that it cannot come loose. There is a risk of people being injured if it
becomes loose. Therefore, check the clamp awning regularly to ensure that it is firmly attached.
Step 8:
Hold the fully assembled clamp awning in the desired posi-
tion, align it, and with the stand feet at the bottom temporar-
ily clamp it between the ceiling and the floor.
