Radio Controlled Clock – DCF77
The radio controlled clock shows the most accurate time of the European continent. The radio signal is spread by
the radio waves (77.5 kHz) to the places in the range of 1500 km from Frankfurt am Main in Germany. This radio
clock signal automatically takes into the account the daylight saving time (DST), leap-years and the date changes. To
capture the signal under the normal circumstances (in the save distance from the sources of interference such as TV
sets, PC screens) it lasts several minutes. In case the clock does not capture this signal, proceed the following steps:
1. Relocate the weather station into another place and repeat the DCF signal capture steps.
2. Check the distance of the clock from the sources of interference such as PC screens TV sets. The distance should
be kept at least from 1.5 to 2 meters. Do not put the weather station when capturing the signal close to the metal
doors, window frames or any other metal constructions, objects (washing machines, laundry dryers, refrigerators,
etc.).
3. Within the iron-reinforced concrete construction premises (basements, high building, etc.) depending on the
conditions, the DCF signal reception is weaker. In the extreme cases place the weather station close to the window
into the direction towards the transmitter.
The quality of the DCF 77 radio signal is influenced by the following factors:
• thick walls and insulation, basement and underground premises
• inappropriate local geographic conditions (difficult to estimate)
• atmospheric disorders, storms
• radio interference not suppressed electrical appliances
• TV sets and PCs placed close to the radio receiver DCF
DCF Signal Reception
If the batteries placed in the weather station have sufficient performance, the DCF signal reception and the clock set
happens automatically. The clock receives daily the DCF radio signal from 2.05a.m. till 5.05a.m. and concurrently the
time is being updated. When the signal reception and the time setting is finished, the icon the transmitter is being
displayed. In this case the manual adjustment is not necessary.
Note: During the DCF signal reception do not use any buttons! We recommend to adjust the time during the night hours
when the DCF signal spreads without any obstacles.

Weather Forecast
The weather station forecasts the weather for next 12–24 hours and for around 30 km radius.
The accuracy of the weather forecast is 70–75%.
Because the weather forecast may not always be 100% exact, the manufacturer or the seller cannot be responsible
for any loss caused due to the incorrect forecast.
When you first set or reset the weather station it takes about 24 hours to the station to start correctly predict the

Care and Maintenance
The product has been designed to reliably work for many years when treating it correctly. Here are some tips for
proper operation:
• Before using this product carefully read the user manual.
• Do not expose the product to the direct sunlight, extreme coldness, humidity and sudden temperature changes.
It would decrease the accuracy of perception.
• Do not place the product to locations predisposed to vibration and shock - it can cause damage.
• Do not expose the product to excessive force, shock, dust, high temperature or moisture - this may cause product’s
incorrect functioning, shorter energetic life span, battery damage and deformation of plastic parts.
• Do not expose the product to rain or moisture, unless is designed for the outdoor use.
• Do not place on the product any sources of fire/flame, e. g. burning candle, etc.
• Do not place the product into the area where there is not available a sufficient air flow.
