Putting into Operation
Insert the batteries into the station and into the remote sensor. Do not nix new with old or different kinds of bat-
GB
teries (alkaline, carbon-zinc and nickel-cadmium), do not use the rechargeable batteries! Proceed according to the
following steps:
1. At the rear side of the station open the cover.
2. Insert into the station 3 batteries 1.5V, type AAA and close the cover.
Plug the AC adapter into the weather station and then insert into the sensor 2 batteries 1.5V, type AAA. Observe
the right polarity of the batteries as shown on the bottom of the battery area!
3. On the station‘s display an icon of weather forecast starts flashing.
Set the current weather condition in your area with b / -.
Confirm by pressing SET.
4. Now press the TX button at the rear of the sensor - a synchronizing signal will be sent and the outdoor temperature
will be displayed on the weather station‘s display.
If the outdoor temperature is not displayed, press the TX button once more.
5. Close the sensor‘s cover and put it outside into the dry and shady place. Ideally at the Northern side.
The sensor must not be exposed to the persistent rain.
The sensor must not be placed on the metal platform, this may disturb the signal transmission.
Temperature Reception from Multiple Sensors
1. In case of using more than one sensor, for each sensor set a different number of the communication channel (1,
2, 3).
2. Set the sensor‘s channel (before inserting the batteries) with the sliding button on the sensor and on the station
by pressing the CHANNEL button.
3. On sensors one by one press the TX button till the information of the outdoor temperature appears.
In case you have connected more sensors it is possible to change the information about the temperature and
humidity among the sensors manually or automatically. When changing the sensor manually press the CHANNEL
button and by this you display the temperature from the desired sensor (CH1, CH2, CH3).
For the automatic changing of the displayed temperature from the particular sensors, press several times the
CHANNEL button till this icon appears. To cancel the automatic sensor changing, press the CHANNEL button
again. The icon of the rounded arrow will not be displayed.
The Lost Temperature Signal Synchronization
In case the weather station does not display the data from the outdoor sensor, check the following:
The distance of the weather station or the sensor from the sources of interference such as TV sets or PC screens. Always
keep the distance at minimum of 2 meters.
The weather station or sensor must not be close to the metal objects and frames (e. g. window frame).
The weather station functioning might be influenced by other devices using the similar frequency (wireless head-
phones, remote control of the window sunblind, garage gate, etc.), or any other device used in the surrounding
neighborhood.
The maximum sensor‘s transmission distance is 30 m in an opened area. The signal range depends on the local condi-
tions and on the buildings‘ construction materials which are used.
The interferences from the surrounding area have an influence on the transmission quality. If the signal transmission
does not happen, try to renew the connection by removing the batteries.
In case you would experience the interference of your radio or TV signal due to the device transmission, you can fix
it with any of the following steps:
• reroute or relocate the antennas
• increase the distance between the device and the receiver
• possibly ask for an advice the vendor or the professional service center
The high-frequency interference may cause the incorrect data displaying. In this case it is necessary to reset (restart)
the device.
The Minimal and Maximal Outdoor and Indoor Temperature
1. To display the minimal (MIN) and maximal average temperature and humidity (MAX), repeatedly press the MAX/
MIN button.
2. To delete the minimal and maximal average temperature and humidity record, hold the MAX/MIN button for 3
seconds.
