8.11 TURBO function
Press this button to activate or deactivate the turbo fan speed. This
speed is available in the Cooling and Heating
operating modes. After setting the turbo fan speed on display
The unit appears
On for 3 seconds.
The turbo fan speed can also be deactivated by changing the operating
mode or changing the fan speed by pressing the FAN button. The TURBO
function is used to reach the set temperature as quickly as possible, both
when cooling as well as when heating.
No icon appears on the remote control if the function is on or off.
8.14 SELF CLEAN function
Press this button to enable the
SELF CLEAN
function.
This function is used to switch the unit off from
COOL
and
DRY
modes,
completing a cycle to dry the internal unit’s heat exchanger to prevent
mould and unpleasant odours from forming.
The internal unit display shows “
SC
” during the operation.
At the end of this 16 minute cycle, the unit goes to
OFF
. You can force the
shutdown at any time by pressing the
SELF CLEAN
button again.

8.12 SILENCE function
Briefly pressing the SILENCE button:
Press this button to enable and disable
SILENCE
ventilation speed. After
having set the
SILENCE
ventilation speed,
On
appears on the unit display
for 3 seconds. Pressing it again disables the function and displays
Off.
SILENCE
ventilation speed can also be disabled by changing operating
mode or ventilation speed using the
FAN
button. The
SILENCE
function is
used to make the unit run silently.
Note:
Enabling the
SILENCE
function may compromise comfort in terms
of room temperature.
8.13 SILENCE FP function (Heat 8 °C)
Holding down the SILENCE FP button:
(for at least 2 seconds) in HEAT
mode enables the Heat 8 °C function and displays “Fp”. The Heat 8 °C
function lowers the Set temperature to 8°C in order to protect uninhabited
indoor rooms from excessively low temperatures.
