Rotational Speed Monitor
Signal conditioning for characteristical value
The input signals are scaled before processing. The characteritical value is proportional to the
speed, i.e. the input frequency divided by the number of theeth of the pulse wheel configured
with the configuration software.
Range adjustment
determined during configuration
Maximum measuring range
limited by the max. signal frequency of 20 kHz
Maximum speed
65535 rpm with 18 teeth,
max. signal frequency = 20 kHz
Maximum number of teeth
255
Current output

characteristical value
The calculation of the characteristical value and its evaluation depends on the function
determined during configuration.
Current output 1

Current output 2
−
I2+ / I2
−
z20 (+) / b20 (

) galvanically isolated
Nominal range
0...20 mA or 4...20 mA, depending on configuration
Life zero

mode
in the 4...20 mA mode the output con be set to 0 mA
in case of a fault. This function is activated during
configuration.
