Installing Board Options

Removing the Processor

To remove the processor, follow these steps:

1. Unplug the cable connector from the CPU fan connector on the motherboard.

2. Remove the heatsink by releasing both tabs on the heatsink that secure the heatsink to the

socket.

NOTE

Depending on the model, the heatsink may vary.
