6.1. Configuration of the communication parameters of the scale
Configuration of the communication parameters of the consists of choosing an appropriate
protocol by using the “Protocol type” function. Selection of the protocol automatically
sets default transmission parameters of the RS-232 interface for the given protocol. If the scale is
working with the customized communication settings the transmission parameters of the RS-232
can be changed manually by the use of the “Transmission Speed” and “Transmission
parameters” functions.

The scale is waiting for the stabilization of the result. If within the specified time (set in the
“Stability waiting time” ) the result will stabilize it will be transmitted. If within that time
the result will not stabilize the request will be canceled and if in the “Frame sending”
function the “Stabile and unstable” parameter was set there will be sent the answer frame
containing blank spaces in place of the result digits.

If the result is stable it will be transmitted. If the result is unstable and in the “Frame Sending”
