You can try to rectify the following simple problems yourself. lf the problem persists, please contact the after-sales
department.
Troubleshooting
Problem
Possible cause and solution
Appliance not
working
Check that the appliance is plugged in and that the plug is correctly inserted in the socket.
Check whether the voltage is too low.
Check whether there is a power failure or the supply circuit has tripped.
Odour
Food with a strong odour should be tightly wrapped.
Check whether there is any rotten food.
Clean the inside of the refrigerator.
The compressor
can be heard
running for a long
time
Extended operation of the refrigerator is normal in summer
when the ambient temperature is high.
Avoid placing too much food in the appliance all at once.
Allow food to cool before placing it in the appliance.
The doors are opened too frequently.
Light fails to
come on
Check whether the refrigerator is plugged in and whether the lamp is damaged.
Have the lamp replaced by a specialist.
Doors do not
close properly
The door is obstructed by food items.
The refrigerator is tilted.
Loud noise
Check whether the floor is level and whether the refrigerator is firmly supported.
Check whether accessories are placed in the proper locations.
Door seal is not
airtight
Remove foreign matter from the door seal.
Heat the door seal and then let it cool down to restore its shape (use a hair dryer or a hot towel to
heat up the seal).
Water pan
overflows
There is too much food in the compartment or the food contains too much water, resulting in
excessive defrosting.
The doors are not closing properly, resulting in frosting due to the entry of air and more water due to
defrosting.
Hot condenser
housing
Heat dissipation from the built-in condenser via the housing, which is normal.
The housing may get hot due to high ambient temperature or the storage of too much food. Ensure
good ventilation to facilitate heat dissipation.
Surface
condensation
Condensation on the exterior surface and door seals of the refrigerator is normal when the ambient
humidity is too high. Dry off the condensate with a clean towel.
Abnormal noise
Buzzing: The compressor may buzz occasionally during operation, particularly when starting or
stopping. This is normal.
Creaking: Refrigerant flowing inside the appliance may produce a creaking sound, which is normal.
