TROUBLESHOOTING
If you cannot find the cause of the fault do not take the appliance apart yourself. Contact an
authorised service centre.
SYMPTOM

Carafe or its lid are leaking
water.
The carafe is not posi-
tioned correctly.
The coffee drips too slowly or
overflows over the edge of the
removable funnel.
The coffee is too finely
ground or contains too
much fat.
Use coarser ground coffee.
Clean the nylon filter using clean
water.
The nylon filter is dirty.
There is coffee residue in the
carafe.
The heating tube is
encrusted with mineral
deposits.
Refer to removing mineral deposits.
Water leaking from the bottom
of the coffee maker.
Water leaking into the
appliance.
Do not use the coffee maker. Con-
tact an authorised service centre.
The coffee maker stops
working.
The coffee maker
overheats causing its
automatic safety system
to trip.
The coffee maker should work after
it has been rested for 30 seconds.
Otherwise contact an authorised
service centre.
The temperature of the coffee
is low.
Not enough water.
Fill with the correct amount of water.
