Cleaning the air filter sponge
To ensure reliable performance of the appliance, it is recommended that
you regularly clean the filter sponge, and replace it after 3–6 months.
(depending on usage). Press and hold down the dust barrel release button,
remove the body and open the cover, remove the sponge, and brush the
dust off the sponge (see Figure 16).
If there is a lot of accumulated dust, wash the filter sponge thoroughly and
dry it before refitting it in the main body.
Note!
During washing, use cold water and dry the sponge thoroughly (usually in sun-
light for 24 hours), then put it back into the body.

Cleaning the standard roller
The standard roller should be cleaned every four to five uses. A groove is
provided for this purpose.
Use a blade or a pair of scissors to gradually cut away any hair or debris
that is clogging up the roller, taking care not to damage the integrated
bristles.
