6.13 Heating elements replacing

Mortal danger from electric shock
Exposed power contacts - High Voltage
An electric shock can cause injuries in the form of burns and cardiac
arrhythmia, respiratory arrest or cardiac arrest.
•
Set the mains switch of the analyzer to position 0 and pull the
mains plug of the mains socket.

Disconnect the oxygen tube (

).
2.
Unscrew the two knurled nuts (

) and remove the front assembly (

).
3.
Remove the O-ring (

) and the safety spring (
7
) from the front end of the ceramic tube.
4.
Pull the dust trap (

) with the ceramic combustion tube out of the furnace.
5.
Unscrew and remove the four screws (

6.
Remove the front stainless panel (

7.
Unscrew and remove the four screws and (

).
8.
Remove the rear stainless cover (

).
9.
Remove the clamps (

) and (

) from the heating elements.
10.
Remove the ceramic spacers (

) and (

).
11.
Remove the heating elements (

).
12.
Re-assemble in reverse order.
NOTICE
Install the clamps (
8
) and (
12
) in a position which allows the heating elements to move at least 5
mm in horizontal (axial) direction.
NOTICE
When you turn on the device after reinstalling, the set setpoint value is driven immediately.
Please check it, see chapter 4.6: Resistance Furnace-Temperature adjustment.
