like to thank you for your confidence. Its easy operation and wide range of applications
will certainly fill you with enthusiasm as well. To make sure you can enjoy using this
appliance for a long time, please read through the following notes carefully and observe
them. Thank you very much.
For your safety
• Prior to initial use, please read through these instructions carefully and save them
for all future users.
• Only use the appliance for the purpose specified in this manual. Improper use will
result in loss of warranty.
• Make sure the mains voltage is identical with the details indicated on the rating label.
Only connect unit to an AC outlet.
• Put the appliance on a heat-resistant, stable and even working surface. Do not operate
unit in the proximity of other heat sources (electric stove, open gas flame etc.).
• For the protection against danger of fire the space over the appliance has to be kept free
and the distance between the appliance and any wall has to be at least

cm. Unhindered
air supply has to be ensured. Only operate the appliance under supervision.

Caution: Glass door and casing will become hot during use; can cause burns!
Do not splash cold water on the hot oven door! Do not store any objects on top of
the appliance!
• Children and persons with handicaps of physical, sensorial or mental nature must not
operate this appliance without an adequate supervision and/or corresponding expert
advice and safety instructions.
• Children should be supervised in order to ensure that they do not play with this appliance.
• Do not at all operate this unit with an external timer or a separate telecontrol system.
• In use the power cord – as well as those of other neighbouring electrical appliances –
must not touch any hot parts of the appliance.
• Do not use the appliance as a space heater. Safe switch-off is ensured by disconnecting
the mains plug.
• Our electrical appliances comply with the relevant safety standards. In case of signs
of damage to the appliance or the power cord, unplug the appliance immediately.
• Repairs may be effected by authorised specialist shops only. Improper repairs may
result in considerable dangers for the user!
Initial use
For a start, please clean all the removable accessory parts in warm water with some
dishwashing detergent.
Prior to initial use, the protective coating on the heating
elements has to be burnt in.
In order to do so, please heat the appliance for approx.

minutes at the maximum setting. Please do not be bothered by the slight, harmless
smoke and smell that will be generated for a short while.
After the appliance has cooled, please clean the interior oven with a moist cloth. Prior
to each operation make sure the oven is dry. Then fit in the crumb tray underneath the
lower heating elements. By means of the handle included, the baking tray and the grill
grid can be removed from the oven even in hot condition.

Intended use
The appliance is designed for preparing food for domestic use. Other uses or modifications
of the appliance are not intended and harbour considerable risks. For damage arising
from not intended use, the manufacturer does not assume liability. The appliance is not
designed for commercial use.

Packing material
Do not simply throw the packing material away but recycle it.
Deliver paper, cardboard and corrugated cardboard packing to collecting facilities.
Also put plastic packing material and foils into the intended collecting basins.
In the examples for the plastic marking PE stands for polyethylene, the code figure 02
for PE-HD, 04 for PE-LD, PP for polypropylene, PS for polystyrene.
