Charging the Battery
Connect the charger unit with the battery connected to the power source
(mains or 24 V source); the red
Charge
indicator light comes on and
the charging process begins. The red indicator light goes out at the end of
the charging. The battery now has only a very low charging current
applied to it to counteract self-discharge.
If a fully-charged battery is connected to the charger, the red
Charge
indicator light lights up only for a short moment or is possibly not
perceivable at all.
