03. SAFETY INDICATIONS
3.1. To avoid the risk of electric shock
• Ensure the electricity cable has no defects. Keep the appliance away
from hot areas and place it in such a way that it cannot catch on anything.
• If the electricity cable or plug are damaged, have them replaced by the
service agent before using the equipment.
• Use the machine only in dry places and never outdoors.
• Do not immerse the gear motor in water or any other liquids as there is a
danger of death by electric shock.
3.2. To avoid the risk of accidents and injuries
• Never put the hands in the openings of the machine. Do not insert any
object inside it, except the plunger and foods, or there is a high risk of
accidents.
• Unplug the socket from the power supply before assembling and
disassembling accessories.
• Never leave the machine unattended when it is ready for use. After
use, or during work breaks, always unplug the machine from the power to
prevent the machine starting unexpectedly.
• Never remove the limiting mechanism housed in the machine’s
entry orifice as this is a safety device designed to avoid trapping.
• Only use original Elma accessories.
