8. Adjust, if necessary, the screen contrast by turning the special trimmer (located in the top left part) by means of
a screwdriver.
9. Close the keypad.
2.5 INSTALLING THE INSERTER
Proximity and key inserters are fitted into 3-compartment boxes (either embedded or wall type).
By using special adapter frames (not supplied with the unit), the inserters may be included, as cores, within the
main civil networks, such as, for instance, BTicino Living International, BTicino Light, BTicino Living, Gewiss
Playbus, Ave Habitat Sistema 45, Vimar Idea, Vimar 8000, etc.
Warning!
: In accordance with the EC 79.2 standards, the inserters fitted outside the protected area shall be
enclosed by self-protection casing. To this purpose, two optional tampers are available:
•
embedded box tamper (MR03EI)
•
wall box tamper (MR04E).
2.5.1 DK2000M INSERTER
To install the DK2000M inserter, proceed as follows:
1. fit the inserter into a suitable adapter frame, so that it can subsequently be placed inside the box (either
embedded or wall type).
2. Assign an address to the inserter and cut, if necessary, the jumpers locates by the side. The inserter address
will also determine the auxiliary input address.
Warning!
There must not be two inserters (DK2000M or
DK3000M) with the same address.
3. Connect the inserter to the bus by means of ter, –, CK and D (refer to paragraph
1.1.2 bus

information).

Tamper adjustment for anti-removal/anti-opening
protection
In accordance with the provisions of the EC 79.2
standard, to ensure correct installation of the anti-
removal/anti-opening system, proceed as follows:
•
remove the tamper spring;
•
fit a 5 mm dowel into the wall just next to the
tamper, then cause the screw to come out by
approximately 4 mm;
•
make sure the tamper is properly pressed by
the screw head when the box is closed.
