INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Check that all the material to be used is in perfect condition and suitable for use.
The individual components are designed for Class III environmental classification: sheltered outdoor use;
temperatures between 0 and +65°C, an average humidity of 75%, with peaks from 85% to 95%, and no
condensation.
Check that the physical distance between the barriers is equal to or less than the distance range of the
devices given in the “Technical Specifications” section.
Check that the barrier is positioned in areas safe from impacts, on level ground and on secure fixing
supports in order to prevent swaying.
Do not place the system components near strong heat sources as this could damage them.
Carefully read the instructions on selection of an appropriate location for the barrier in the relevant section
of this manual.
Once installed, ensure that the water-tight covers on the barrier are properly sealed and that there are no
obstacles of any kind between the sensors.
If possible, avoid installing the receiver barrier in a position exposed to strong sunlight at sunrise or sunset.
If possible, avoid installing groups of barriers in such a way that the transmission devices may interfere with
one or more receiving devices. For this reason, it is useful to place the devices in pairs of transmitters and
receivers.
