Groundlighter

is a robust cast-brass 12v recessed light

designed for uplighting smaller trees or statues and other
features in waterlogged lawns and other wet locations. It is
available with a plain rim and flush lens which sheds water and
leaf litter for reduced maintenance, or with a protective grill for
use in walkover areas to protect against a hot lens unless a low
energy l.e.d. lamp is used. Cast brass construction is corrosion
proof for use in all soil types and finished in a fine sandblasted
finish which typically weathers to an ochre colour after a few
weeks.

Groundlighter

has a 6m rubber cable and adjustable

lampholder bracket allowing focusing of a 75w AR111 metal

reflector halogen lamp.at up to 20 from vertical. The optional

E8960MR

converter assembly allows use of MR16 lamps up to

50w, including the new 50w

Powersavers

which are equivalent

to ordinary 75 watt halogen lamps; use of MR16 lamps permits
use of a wide range of accessories, including MR16 colour
filters and E4002 glare louvre.

Lighting suggestions are for general guidance, subject to branch/
canopy structure & foliage density, colour and translucence. Look up
through the tree - if you can see through the branches, then light will
penetrate the canopy and structure as well. If not, position lights
outside the canopy and adjusting the lamp angle to uplight the tree
externally. Lighting trees is a black art: test the position of uplights with
a temporary wiring set-up to determine correct position before final
installation: Perception of brightness may vary between individuals.
