Wet Cleaning Carpets and
Upholstery

1

Check that the P. Tex cleaning agent
delivered with your appliance is suita-
ble for cleaning your rugs, fitted car-
pets or upholstery. Do this by carrying
out a test on a part of the item that
cannot be seen.
To obtain the best results you should
only use the original cleaning agent.

1

Only clean carpets and upholstery that
are suitable for wet cleaning. Delicate,
hand-woven or non-colour-fast car-
pets may not be wet cleaned.

3

Prior to wet cleaning carpets or uphol-
stery, thoroughly vacuum the entire
area to remove loose dirt.
If the carpet has previously been sham-
pooed there might be considerable
build-up of foam in the dirty water
container when P. Tex is used for the
first time. To avoid more foam, add half
a cup of vinegar to the dirty water
tank.
If foam comes out of the air vent,
switch off the appliance immediately
and empty the dirty water tank (T).

(2).

you can set the required, continuously
variable, level of suction power (I).
