GAS SECTION TROUBLESHOOTING
ACTION
WHAT HAPPENS?
CHECK.......
Turn the
function selector
knob on the gas
oven to
,
and turn the
thermostat knob
to any
temperature.
The pilot lamp indicating
that the thermostat is in
operation does not light.
- the power supply
- the safety Klixon
- closure of the programmer contacts
- closure of the function selector contacts
(P1-1 and P2-4)
- the adjustable thermostat
- the thermostat pilot lamp
When the gas delivery
solenoid opens, a “click”
is heard; the ignition
spark, too is heard and,
after about ten seconds,
a “click” is heard when
the gas delivery solenoid
closes; the “GAS
BLOCK” LED lights.
- the gas supply
- the gas pressure (especially if LPG is
used, check whether the dynamic
pressure is less than 200 column mm,
which might cause problems of ignition).
- that there is no discharge between the
wiring to the spark plug and earth
- the position of the spark plug/flame
detector (which should be 3.75 mm from
the burner – see page 9)
- that the ignition spark plug/flame
detector is not oxidized
- replace the electronic control unit
When the gas delivery
solenoid opens, a “click”
is heard; the ignition
spark is not heard and,
after about ten seconds,
a “click” is heard when
the gas delivery solenoid
closes; the “GAS
BLOCK” LED lights.
- check the ignition spark plug
- check the igniter wiring for possible
discharge from the wiring to earth
- replace the igniter
Only the ignition spark
“click” is heard; after
about ten seconds, the
“GAS BLOCK” LED for
the corresponding burner
lights.
- the wiring to the solenoid valve
- the solenoid valve
- replace the electronic control unit (see
tests described on page 16)
The thermostat pilot
lamp lights, but neither

nor the the ignition spark
