Switching off the cooking zone
There are two variants for switching off a cooking
zone.
Variant 1
Touch the „heat setting selection“ sensor fields
or
simultaneously.
is illuminated in the digital display.
The cooking zone is switched off.
Variant 2
Touch the „Heat setting selection“ sensor field
until
is indicated in the digital display.
is illuminated in the digital display.
The cooking zone is switched off.

WARNING!
Risk of burning due to residual heat.
After switching-off the cooking zone
takes some time to cool down.
Check ceramic glass hob.
Check residual heat display
.
If all cooking zones are switched off the
appliance switches off automatically
after ten seconds.
Existing residual heat
is displayed in
the cooking zones’ digital displays.
Following a power failure existing
residual heat will no longer be indicated
in the digital displays.
Residual heat may be used to melt or
keep food hot.
