It is advisable to use a floor grate.
For
AOFP061U, AOFP101U and AOFP102U
appliances, the
drain diameter is 1½”, therefore it is advisable to use a 1½” drain
hose.
For
AOFP201RU
appliances, the drain diameter is ¾”, therefore
it is advisable to use a ¾” drain hose.
The drainage course to the open drain must be fitted with a trap,
to prevent any backflow from the sewage network reaching the
internal pipes in the appliance. Make sure there are no kinks in
the hosing or elbows in the metal pipes in the drainage course.
Avoid horizontal stretches, where water may collect and stagna-
te.
Note: before removing the drain plug to drain off the chamber,
make sure the appliance has been connected to a drain trap
system, or that the drain tray has been emptied.
CAUTION:
This equipment is to be installed to comply with the applicable
Federal, State or local plumbing codes.
