STEP 3 Prepare Cooktop for Conversion
3-1 If the cooktop is connected to a natural gas
supply line, close the gas supply valve.
3-2 Disconnect the cooktop power connector from
the electrical outlet.
3-3 Remove the grates from the top.
3-4 Remove all of the burner caps and burner rings
from top of the burner heads.
