LX Driver
LX Driver circuit boards do the work of
interpreting data sent from the control
console to the scoreboard display. Using that
information, the drivers decide which of the
LEDs should be illuminated and which should
not. The single LX Driver in a locker room
clock decodes data representing each digit
used in the scoreboard. The driver sends
signals to the LED circuit boards via ribbon
cables. The table below lists the names and
purposes of the various connectors on the LX
Driver.
