LX Drivers
LX Driver circuit boards do the work of
interpreting the data sent from the control
console to the scoreboard display. Using that
information, the drivers decide which of the
LEDs should be illuminated and which should
not. An LX11 Driver decodes data
representing the numbers shown on the
display and then sends signals to the LED
display circuit boards via ribbon cables. The
table below lists the names and purposes of
the various connectors on the LX11 Driver.
