6.8.2 Receipt of sales data from ECR to PC
EuroSoft allows storing of all sales data in the PC. These data can be backed-up, displayed on a monitor
or printed out on a printer.
Select Sales data in the
Receive
menu. Scroll menu opens. Choose the sales data that will be transmitted
to the PC.
After transmitting the PLU file, you can either reset the data of PLU or not reset the data after successful
transmission. After choosing one of the above posibilities, enter the number of the starting PLU and the last
PLU number to be received. If you need to receive data of all PLU, just press ENTER twice.
If the transmission is successful, the program will ask you for a file name. Enter the name without extension
as the program will create the extension automaticaly according to the type of data.
Caution:
Reading sales results from the register will not reset data in the register, except for PLU data.
That means Z-REPORT IS NOT CARRIED OUT (DAILY and PERIODICAL)! It is onlyX-OPERA-
TION. If you want to reset these data, select one of the options Daily report deleting... or
Periodical report deleting.... PC transmits the command signal to ECR to reset the chosen type of
report. This is the same effect as carrying out Z operation on ECR manually.

1: To obtain correct and usable information, it is recommended that the cash register data be read
by the computer at the end of day (month) via
Receive
menu - Sales data and afterwards be
reset via
Send
menu - Daily report deleting or Periodical report deleting.

It is possible to carry out the PLUs Z report on the register without without printing them on
printer by pressing
