Internal exchanger pressure drop and
admissible water flow rates
Standard unit without hydronic assembly on the user side, but equipped with components as listed on the key of the enclosed
plumbing circuit diagram.
It is possible to control an external pump by an on/off or 0-10V signal.
Water fittings are Victaulic type by 2”.

To the internal exchanger pressure drops must be added the pressure drops of the steel mesh mechanical filter that must be
placed on the water input line. It is a device compulsory for the correct unit operation, and it is provided by ELCO as accesso-
ry

an average water temperature at
7°C.
Q = Water flow rate[l/s]
DP = Pressure drops [kPa]
The water flow rate must be calcu-
lated with the following formula
Q [l/s] = kWf / (4,186 x DT)
kWf = Cooling capacity in kW
DT = Temperature difference
between entering / leaving water
