Inter-Board (Mezzanine) Connectors
The PCZ-NVM is equipped with 2 inter-board connectors. These are the HSE1 (4-lane PCI Express®
& USB) and the HSE2 (4-lane PCI Express® & DisplayPort) connectors. The host CPU inter-board
connectors are situated at the bottom of the PCZ-NVM and establish the data path and power link
to the carrier board CPU.
As the PCZ-NVM comes typically mounted as a unit together with the PC7-FESTIVAL (or other
carrier board), there is normally no need for the user to get access to any of the inter-board
connectors. They are described here as a reference only and for better understanding of the
PCZ-NVM.
