Be sure to read the following information before
you put the cordless screwdriver into operation:
1. Charge the battery only with the charging unit
supplied.

6. Operation
6.1 Charging the battery (Fig. 2)
The battery is protected from exhaustive
discharge.
An integrated protective circuit automatically
switches off the equipment when the battery is
fl at. In this case the bit chuck will cease to turn.
Attention!
The USB charging cable (9) is located
in the lower part of the charging station.
Notice!
Do not press the On/Off switch any more
if the protective circuit has tripped. This may
damage the battery.
Check that your mains voltage is the same as that
marked on the rating plate of the battery charger.
Plug the battery charger in the plug socket and
connect the charging cable to the charging con-
nection.
The charging process starts as soon as
the charging cable is connected to the charging
adapter.
The red LED (4) will come on to indicate that the
battery pack is being charged.
The charging control lamp (4) goes out when
charging is completed.
Charging with the docking station/
charging cradle (Fig. 2b)
Connect the USB charging cable (9) to a portable
USB charger (not supplied) or USB port. Then
plug the other side of the USB charging cable (9)
into the charging socket on the docking station
(15) and place the screwdriver/flashlight on the
docking station to allow the tool to be charged.
The indicator lamps (11) on the docking station
will light up in the order in which the tool is char-
ged. When the tool is fully charged, all 4 indicator
lamps will light up.
Notice! The handle may become a little warm du-
ring the charging process. This is normal.
If the battery fails to charge, please check
•
whether there is voltage at the socket outlet
•
whether there is good contact at the charging
contacts of the charging unit
•
If the battery still fails to charge, send
the charging unit
•
and the screwdriver
to our customer service center.
Timely recharging of the battery will help it serve
you well for a long time. You must recharge the
battery when you notice that the power of the
cordless screwdriver drops.
6.2 Changeover switch (Fig. 3/Item 10)

screwdriver and for preventing the cordless
screwdriver from being switched on inadvertently.
You can select between clockwise and counter-
clockwise rotation. Change the direction of rotati-
on only when the equipment is at a standstill.
If you fail to observe this point, the gearing may

middle position, the On/Off switch is blocked.

Press the On/Off switch to switch the cordless
screwdriver on. Release the On/Off switch again
to switch it off .

Red LED:
The battery is empty, recharge the battery.
6.8 Torque setting (Fig. 5 / Item 2)
The torque for a particular screw size is set with
the setting ring (2). The torque is dependent on a
number of factors:
•
On the type and hardness of the material
involved
•
On the type and length of the screws used
•
On the requirements that the screw connec-
tion has to satisfy
The grating disengagement of the coupling in-
dicates that the selected torque level has been
reached.
Notice! Only ever adjust the setting ring
when the equipment is at a standstill.
