and 12/Item 5) ensure that you do not over-
tighten the securing screws (Fig.12/Item 24) so
that the ejector can still be turned.
Fit the adjusting lever for the ejector as shown in
Fig. 13 to 18. If necessary align the guide eyelet
(Fig. 2/Item A) as shown in Fig. 16 in line with the
bottom crank mounting.
6. Before starting the machine
Important.
You must fill up with engine oil (approx.
0.6 l) and fuel before you can start the engine.
Check the fuel and engine oil levels and top up if
necessary
Make sure that the spark plug boot is secured to
the spark plug
Check the area immediately around the snow
plow
7. Operation
Please note that the statutory regulations governing
noise abatement may differ from town to town.
7.1 Starting the engine
Open the petrol cock (Fig 1 / Item 15) by pushing
it to the right
Move the throttle lever (Fig. 1 / Item 14) to the
center position
Set the ON/Off switch (Fig. 1 / Item 8) to the
“ON” position
Push the choke lever (Fig. 1 / Item 13) to the left
Start the engine using the reversing starter (Fig.
1 / Item 16).
To do this pull the handle approx. 10 – 15 cm
(until you feel a resistance) and then start the
engine with a sharp pull. If the engine does not
start, pull the handle again.
Important.
Do not release the cable so that it
whips back by itself.
Slowly push the throttle lever (Fig. 1 / Item 14) to
the right to increase the engine speed.
Push in the choke lever (Fig.1 / Item 13) after
approx. 1 minute in temperatures below -5ºC or
after approx. 30 seconds in temperatures above
-5ºC.
If the engine is warm you can leave the choke
lever (Fig. 1 / Item 13) in its open position when
starting the engine.
7.2 Using the snow plow
Push the throttle lever (Fig 1 / Item 14) to the right
(full speed).
Set the required ejecting direction for the snow
ejection unit (Fig. 1 / Item 5) using the adjusting
lever (Fig. 1 / Item 11).
To engage the plow unit pull the control lever
(Fig. 1 / Item 2) backwards towards the top push
bar (Fig. 1 / Item 1)
Important:
Ensure that there are no people or
animals in front of the plow unit or in the selected
ejection direction (caution: the ejection range may
be between 4 and 8 meters).
Push the snow plow over the areas and paths you
wish to clear from snow.
Important.
If the snow ejection unit becomes
blocked: Switch off the engine and wait until the
plow unit has reached a complete standstill.
Clean the snow ejection unit using a solid object
(for example a wooden pole).
7.3 Switching off the engine
Push the throttle lever (Fig 1 / Item 14) to the left
(idling).
Close the petrol cock (Fig. 1 / Item 15).
Set the ON/Off switch (Fig. 1 / Item 8) to the
