2.2 Items supplied

Open the packaging and take out the equip-
ment with care.

Remove the packaging material and any
packaging and/or transportation braces (if
available).

Check to see if all items are supplied.

Inspect the equipment and accessories for
transport damage.

3. Appropriate Use
The device is designed for reception and repro-
duction of audio programs from authorized radio
stations within the speci
fi
ed and legal frequency
ranges, as well as playing music via AUX jack and
cables in compliance with the provisions of the
copyright law.
The radio must be used only according to its pro-
visions. Any other use beyond that is not allowed.
Improper use and/or di
ff
erent type of use can be
hazardous. Claims of any type due to damage
from improper use are excluded.

5. Before starting the equipment
Be sure to read the following information before
you put the cordless equipment into operation:
•
Charge the battery pack with the charger. An
empty battery pack requires a charging peri-
od of approximately 0.5 to 1 hour.
•
Open the battery cover (Fig 2 / Item 6) and
insert 3 x AAA batteries. These are needed
to ensure that the transmitters and time that
have been saved are retained even when the
battery pack has been removed.
6. Operation
6.1 Charging the Li battery pack (Fig. 3-4)
1. Remove the battery pack (3) from the equip-
ment, pressing the pushlock button (4) down-
wards to do so.
2. Check that your mains voltage is the same as
that marked on the rating plate of the battery
charger. Insert the power plug of the charger
(5) into the socket outlet. The green LED will
then begin to
fl
ash.
3. Push the battery pack onto the battery char-
ger.
In section 9 (Charger indicator) you will
fi
nd a
table with an explanation of the LED indicator on
the charger.
If the battery pack fails to charge, check for the
following:
•
voltage at the power socket
•
whether there is good contact at the charging
contacts of the charging unit
If the battery pack still fails to charge, send
•
the charger and charging adapter
•
and the battery pack
to our customer service center.
To ensure that the Li battery pack provides
long service you should take care to recharge
it promptly. You must recharge the battery pack
when you notice that the power of the cordless
equipment drops.
6.2 Switching on/o

switch to „I“.
