Checking the autofocus
Is dust, dirt or damage present
on the auto focus sensor
cover?
Remove the dust and dirt, or
replace.
Are voltages of 3.3V, 1.5V and
2.8V applied to pin (4) of X5001,
pin (94) of IC5003 and pin (5) of
IC5008 respectively?
Check the power supply circuit
and its peripheral circuits.
Is a clock (49MHz) output from
pin (3) of X5001?
X5001 is defective.
Is a clock (12.27MHz) output
from pin (108) of X5003?
Does the signal of pin (6) of
IC5004 change right after 3.3V
is applied? Check IC5003.
Check IC5004.
Is a clock sent to pin (93) of
IC5003?
Is the camera FPC properly
connected to the connector? Connect properly.
The camera is defective.
When auto focus is performed,
does pin (121) of IC5003
change? Check IC5005 and IC5006.
Check the motor drive circuit.
