Prior to commissioning, it's important to ensure:
that the EGO Smart Heater is correctly installed in the water
tank, has been set up in an optimal installation site and is
properly sealed. (see installation site section)

regulations as well as the current instruction and fuseprotected.
(see section on mains connection / safety instructions)
that the control unit of the remote station is correctly connected
to the EGO Smart Heater in accordance with the manufacturer's
specifications and is ready for operation. If unable to
communicate with the remote station, the Smart Heater cannot
transmit power and an error is indicated.
that the correct protective grounding from the reservoir and
EGO Smart Heater is ensured and checked.
Commissioning
1. Switch on the mains voltage on the EGO Smart Heater
and the remote station. If the rotary selector on the EGO
Smart Heater is set to OFF, the status indicator does not
light up.
2. Set the rotary selector to the desired max. storage
temperature between 40 and 80°C.
The EGO Smart Heater is now ready for operation. The status
indicator lights up or flashes green. During the initial commissioning,
it is possible that the indicator will remain lit up in red until the remote
