4.2 Installation guidelines
▪ Use the list as a guide for the installation of the vacuum pump. The list is not
exhaustive. Every vacuum pump installation is unique, and care must be used in
the placement of each pump. If you are not sure of any installation variable,
contact us.
▪ For bare-shaft nES pumps supplied without a motor, the installation of a three-
phase electric motor is mandatory before use. Follow the installation procedure
provided with the pump. Bare-shaft pumps are delivered either with an IEC or a
NEMA motor coupling element. Use a motor with the power and frame size that
matches the following specification:
