Clean the motor fan-cover
You must keep the motor fan-cover clean. Your pump may overheat if the air-flow over the motor is restricted.
1. Isolate the pump from your electrical supply.
2. Use a dry cloth and a brush to remove dirt and deposits from the fan-cover.
3. Reconnect the electrical supply to your pump.

Clean and overhaul the pump as described in the instructions supplied with the clean and overhaul kit (see

Test the motor condition
Test the earth continuity and the insulation resistance of the pump-motor, in accordance with local regulations for
periodic testing of electrical equipment. We recommend that the earth continuity is less than 0.1
