1.4.6 Fan Tray
1.4.6.1 ES4704BD Fan Tray
Three fan assemblies (EM4704BD-FAN) can be configured in the ES4704BD, and
installed in a horizontal configuration into the fan module slots in the switch’s upper front
panel. The three fan assemblies cover the entire board area, ensuring sufficient ventilation
for the devices, hence enhancing the stability of devices even under high temperature
environments. Each fan assembly consists of 2 axial fans, which are protected by the fan
tray to prevent bodily injury. Please note that the fan blades still spin at a high speed when
disconnected from the device during operation, to avoid bodily injury
do not
touch the
spinning blades.
