5. BUILT-IN RANGE
PREPARATION PRIOR TO INSTALLATION
BUILT-IN electric cookers should be installed on
non-flammable
countertops or worktops
manufactured according to current hygiene and safety standards.
The cooker modules can be combined with other modules (e.g. stove, fryer, etc.), keeping a
distance of at least 50 mm between modules.
The modules can be installed on countertops in one of the ways described below:
A. Supported
: Make a hole in the countertop as shown in the following figures. The
countertop and the equipment should be connected with 6 M5 through bolts, through
the perforated countertop.
In order to stop liquids from seeping in between the countertop and the equipment, use food-
grade, mould-resistant silicone that can withstand temperatures of at least 100ºC.
