Another consideration upon the first use or a completed
system initialization is that the interface language will be
reset to English. Users that prefer to see menus and
messages in Russian are referred to page 146 for
instructions.
Keyboard
The American standard QWERTY keyboard combined with
the Russian standard
ЙЦУКЕН
layout allows you to enter
any word just in seconds.
Each national set of characters is linked to its language
input mode. Language modes can be toggled by pressing
the
key. In the
Main Dictionary (English-Russian bi-
directional dictionary)
and
Ukrainian Dictionary (English-
Ukrainian bi-directional dictionary)
, however, the input
mode selection is handled automatically to comply with the
current source language, and the
key is used for
changing the translation direction.

Note:
Unlike PC keyboards, with Partner
®
v6 there is no
need to keep a key pressed. It is enough to press it only
once and release.
