FITTING INSTRUCTIONS ELECTRIC WIRINGKIT TOWBAR WITH 12-N SOCKET UP TO
DIN/ISO NORM 1724

Remove the battery earth cable.
Disassemble both rearlightunits.
Remove the covering in the back of the vehicle.
Use the existing rubber grommet in the trunk, just underneath the rearlightunits.
Lead the wire-end with the green, brown and grey wires under the right rearlightunit through the rubber grommet to the socket.
Lead the wire-end with the yellow, blue, red, black, white and grey wires under the left rearlightunit through the rubber grommet to the socket.
(Warning!! Exhaust))
Pull the rubber coverplate over the wiringharness.
Remove the contactholder from the socket and fit the wires as follows:
On both rearlightunits connectors are located. Disconnect them.
Fit the connector of the harness with the green and brown wires between the cleared connectors of the right rearlightunit.
Fit the connector of the harness with the yellow, red, black and black/red wires between the cleared connectors of the left rearlightunit.
On the right rearside of the vehicle a 2-pole connector is located for the right rearfoglights. Disconnect it.
Fit the connectors of the harness with the grey wire between the cleared connector of the right rearfoglights.
On the right rearside of the vehicle a 2-pole connector is located for the right rearfoglights. Disconnect it.
Fit the connectors of the harness with the grey, white and blue/white wire between the cleared connector of the left rearfoglights.
If you would chose not to switch off the rearfoglight of the pulling vehicle, then you would have to connect the blue and the grey wires on the
contact 2 of the socket.
Fit the relaysockel to the chassis.
Fit the supplied relay into the sockel.
Fit the white wire to chassis earth.
Mount the socket to the towbar.
Reinstall the battery earth cable and check all electric functions with the trailer/caravan connected.
Fit all disassembled parts.
