Installation
1. On the front face, there is a link key which is
used to carry out inclusion, exclusion or associa-
tion. When the detector is first powered up, the
reading in RF mode is 00 which means that it
hasn’t been allocated a node ID and cannot work
with Z-Wave enabled devices. The light intensity
sensor will stay “awake” for 10 minutes when
power is first applied to allow time for configura -
tion.
2. To put a Z-Wave wireless controller into inclusion/
exclusion mode, press the link key link key 3 times
within 1.5 seconds.
3. To reset the module press link key 3 times within
1.5 seconds. Within 1 second, press and hold link
key until beep stops.
Mounting
The Illumination Sensor can either be wall mounted
or freestanding. Consider the most suitable position
before mounting/placing it.
Follow the steps below in sequence to load the batter

ies (Fig.1).
