Selecting the unit of measurement (kg/lb)
If you wish to change the unit of measurement, turn the scale over and select the unit of
measurement: kg or lb by pressing the "UNIT" button.
MESSAGES
Means there is an overload. Please step off the scale to avoid any
damage.
Low battery indicator. Replace with new batteries.
BATTERY WARNINGS
Please remove the batteries if you plan not to use the appliance for a long period.
Never mix alkaline, regular (carbon-zinc) and rechargeable (nickel hydride) batteries.
Never mix old and new batteries.
Never try to charge non-rechargeable batteries.
Remove rechargeable batteries from the appliance (if possible) before charging.
Rechargeable batteries should always be charged under the supervision of an adult.
Remove used batteries.
Never short-circuit the power terminals.
Always use batteries of the recommended type or equivalent type.
Observe the correct polarity when replacing the batteries.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Do not immerse in water or any other liquid.
Clean the scale with a soft, damp cloth, then wipe with a clean, dry cloth.
You can also clean the surface with a soft cloth dampened with window cleaner.
Do not use solvents or abrasive materials.
Water must not enter the device. Wait until the device is completely dry before using it again, or
wipe it thoroughly with a clean, dry cloth.
Do not expose the device to direct sunlight, protect it from dirt and moisture.
Keep it away from extreme temperatures.
