SYSTEM TOPOLOGY AND CONFIGURATIONS
8.1. Point-to-Point Connection (Default)
When the VEO-XTI2L and VEO-XRI2L are connected as simple extension in a point-to-
point topology, any configuration is needed. The devices have a default “Auto IP” setting
(169.254.x.x) and each Transmitter will send a unicast video stream to the
corresponding Receiver just selecting the same Group ID.
8.2. Point-to-Multipoint Connections and Operations
When the VEO-XTI2L and VEO-XRI2L are connected as distibution system in a point-
to-multipoint connection, both Transmitters and Reveivers need to be configured as
multicast operation (please check chapter 8 and 9 of this manual). Each Receiver needs
to be set on the same ID group of the Transmitter.
