2. Insert the USB drive into the INTEL SOCKET. The USB DRIVE depends on the device to
fabricate (MIMO4040CDN or MIMO7272DN). Both USB are labeled.
3. Turn ON the POWER onto the EXTERNAL POWER SUPPLY. The device will start its LOADING
FIRMWARE on the MSC-Q7-BW-E8000 module. The following LEDs need to be taken into
account. The attached LED distribution needs to be followed in order to understand the LEDs.
IMPORTANT!!! THE SUPPLY AND THE USB MUST NOT BE DISCONNECTED DURING THE
LOADING FIRMWARE STEP. ANY ISSUE ON THESE TWO WILL RESULT ON A BROKEN MSC-Q7
MODULE.
1. First step when LOADING FIRMWARE (after POWER ON).

2. Finish LOADING FIRMWARE (after three minutes approximately).

4. When reached the FINISH LOADING FIRMWARE state, POWER OFF the device. If any of the
LEDs is different compared to this state,
DO NOT POWER OFF THE DEVICE
. When
POWERED OFF, remove the USB DRIVE from the socket before starting again the device.
5. Turn ON the device AGAIN. The device will make its POWER ON sequence until it reaches ON
STATE on the LEDS. Do not POWER OFF the device unless it reaches ON STATE on the
LEDS.
