• Do not operate a chain saw with one hand!
Serious injury to the operator, helpers or bystanders
may result from one-handed operation. For proper
control, always use two hands when operating a chain
saw, one of which operates the trigger. Otherwise, this
can result in the chain saw “skating” or skidding, which
can result in personal injury due to loss of control.
• Keep a good firm grip on the saw which both hands,
with the right hand on the rear handle and the left hand
on the front handle, when the engine is running. Use a
firm grip with thumbs and fingers encircling the chain
saw handles. A firm grip will help you reduce kickback
and maintain control of the saw. Two hands must be
used to control the saw at all times.
• Do not overreach or cut above chest height.
• Make sure that the area in which you are cutting is free
from obstructions. Do not let the bar nose contact a
log, branch, or any other obstruction which could be hit
while you are operating the saw.
• Cutting at high engine speeds may reduce the
likelihood of kickback. But cutting at part-throttle or low
engine speeds may be preferable to control the chain
saw in tight situations and may also reduce the
likelihood of kickback.
• Follow manufacturer’s sharpening and maintenance
instructions for the saw chain.
• Use only replacement guide bars and chains specified
by the manufacturer, or the acceptable equivalents of
these guide bars and chains.
• Nicht überstrecken und schneiden Sie nie über
Brusthöhe.
• Versichern Sie sich, dass lhr Arbeitsbereich frei von
Hindernissen ist. Verhindern Sie, dass die
Schienenspitze einen anderen Stamm, Ast oder irgend
ein anderes Hindernis berührt während Sie mit der
Motorsäge arbeiten.
• Schneiden mit hoher Motordrehzahl, dies verringert die
Wahrscheinlichkeit eines Rückschlags.
Schneiden mit Halbgas oder niederer Motordrehzahl
kann in schwierigen Situationen besser für die
Kontrolle sein und dadurch ebenso die
Wahrscheinlichkeit eines Rückschlags reduzieren.
• Befolgen Sie die Hinweise für das Schärfen und
Pflegen der Kette.
• Benutzen Sie nur Austauschschienen und -ketten die
von ECHO zugelassen sind.
• Bedienen Sie die Motorsäge nie nur mit einer Hand!
Für Bediener, Helfer und Zuschauer kann das
einhändige Arbeiten zu schwersten Verletzungen
führen. Für sicheres Arbeiten immer beide Hände an
das Gerät, eine immer am Gashebel. Die Motorsäge
kann Ihnen aus der Hand gleiten, was zum Verlust der
Kontrolle und damit zu Verletzungen führen kann.
• Halten Sie die Säge immer mit beiden Händen, die
rechte Hand am Gasgriff, die linke Hand am vorderen
Handgriff, solange der Motor läuft. Umschließen Sie
die Griffe immer mit den Daumen und allen anderen
Fingern. Ein fester Griff hilft den Rückschlag zu
reduzieren und die Motorsäge unter Kontrolle zu
halten. Mit beiden Händen die Motorsäge festhalten.
• ¡No utilice la motosierra con una sola mano! Si utiliza
la motosierra con una sola mano puede provocarse
heridas a Ud. mismo, a sus ayudantes y a los
transeúntes. Para tener un control adecuado utilice
siempre las dos manos al utilizar la motosierra, una
de las cuales aprieta el gatillo del acelerador. Si se
usara la motosierra con una sola mano, la motosierra
podría patinar o resbalar, provocando heridas
personales debidas a la pérdida de control.
• Cuando el motor esté en marcha, sujete firmemente la
motosierra con ambas manos, con la mano derecha
en el asa posterior y la mano izquierda en el asa
anterior. Agarre bien el equipo con sus pulgares y sus
dedos agarrando las asas de la motosierra. Si agarra
bien el equipo reducirá el contragolpe y mantendrá el
control de la motosierra. En todo momento debe usar
las dos manos para controlar la misma.
• No corte desde lejos ni por encima de la altura del
pecho.
• Asegúrese de que el área en la que corta está libre
de obstrucciones. No deje que la punta de la barra
entre en contacto con una rama ni con ninguna otra
obstrucción que pudiera golpear la motosierra
durante su uso.
• El corte a altas velocidades del motor podría reducir
las probabilidades de un contragolpe. Pero puede
que sea preferible cortar a bajas velocidades del
motor o con el acelerador apretado parcialmente,
para controlar la motosierra en situaciones de
estrechez y esto también puede reducir las
probabilidades del contragolpe.
• Siga siempre las instrucciones de afilado y
mantenimiento que indica el fabricante.
• Use sólo barras guía y sierras especificadas por el
fabricante, o equivalentes aceptables de las mismas.
